"Swing 48", also catalogued as "Swing 48 2", is an instrumental gypsy jazz and swing tune composed by Django Reinhardt, who is credited as its sole writer. It has no lyrics. It is a variant of the theme of Reinhardt's "Swing 39". Reinhardt recorded it on 6 July 1947 with Le Quintette du Hot Club de France, and the performance was first issued as a 78 rpm single.
The tune is among the most frequently recorded of Reinhardt's pieces in the gypsy jazz repertoire. Later versions by players such as Pearl Django, Jimmy Rosenberg, Tchavolo Schmitt and Rocky Gresset have kept it in circulation among guitarists and ensembles working in the style.
