"My Little Suede Shoes" is an instrumental bebop tune credited to Charlie Parker alone. It is a contrafact, a new melody written over the chord changes of "Jeepers Creepers", the 1938 song by Harry Warren and Johnny Mercer from the film Going Places. The piece is in E-flat major and is described as a jazz tune with a Latin-tinged bebop character. Parker recorded it on 12 March 1951, and it was published that year. It was first released in 1952 as a single and also appeared on the album South of the Border. Among the many later interpretations are recordings by Herbie Mann, Sonny Rollins, J.J. Johnson, Grant Green, Anita O'Day and Michel Camilo.
