"Lentement Mademoiselle" is an instrumental gypsy jazz piece by Django Reinhardt, who is its sole writer. Without lyrics, it is a swing composition in the guitar-led style of the Hot Club de France, and the title is also spelled "Lentement Madamoiselle" in some listings. The original recording was made by Django Reinhardt et le Quintette du Hot Club de France on 31 March 1942 in Paris and first released on the single "Dinette". Because the piece has no words, the performance rests entirely on the instrumental playing of the quintet.
Later versions include recordings by André Persiany, released in 1956, and performances by Babik Reinhardt, the Angelo Debarre Quartet, the Rosenberg Trio and Benji Winterstein. These later recordings show the piece taken up by players from several generations.
