"Armando's Rhumba" is an instrumental composed by Chick Corea, who is its sole writer. Corea recorded it for his album My Spanish Heart, cut at Kendun Recorders in Burbank, California, in October 1976 and released by Polydor in November of that year, with later reissues on Verve. The album blends jazz fusion with more traditional Latin music, and its guests include Stanley Clarke, Jean-Luc Ponty, Steve Gadd, Narada Michael Walden and Gayle Moran. The track is the third on side three and runs 5:19. It is associated with the rumba and Latin jazz styles and is now widely regarded as a jazz standard. Later versions have been recorded by the Rosenberg Trio, Michel Camilo, Helen Sung, Richard Galliano, and Eliane Elias and Chick Corea.
