Bloomdido is a jazz standard and a bebop composition written by Charlie Parker, who is its sole composer. It is sometimes described as a jazz blues and is counted among the bebop repertoire.
The original recording was made on 6 June 1950 in New York City by Charlie Parker and His Orchestra. Session listings also name Dizzy Gillespie among the participants, although that attribution is not confirmed in every source. The performance was first issued on the Clef Records album Bird and Diz, released in 1952. Since then the tune has been recorded by a range of later jazz artists, and it remains a piece that players associate with Parker's bebop output.
