Shaw 'Nuff is an instrumental bebop tune credited to trumpeter and bandleader Dizzy Gillespie, a leading popularizer of bebop, and alto saxophonist Charlie Parker, a leading figure of the style. Wikidata dates the composition to 1945. The tune was recorded on 11 May 1945 in a session by Gillespie and Parker with Sydney Catlett, Al Haig and Curly Russell, and it is regarded as one of the early bebop heads from the 1945 Gillespie-Parker sessions.
It was first released in November 1945 on the Guild single Lover Man / Shaw 'Nuff (Guild 1002), issued under Dizzy Gillespie's name. Later recordings include versions by Donald Byrd, Charlie Parker (1957), George Wallington, Art Pepper, Charles McPherson, Barry Harris, Phil Woods, Freddie Hubbard, the Keith Jarrett trio and Pasquale Grasso.
