"Will You Still Be Mine?" is a song with music by Matt Dennis and lyrics by Tom Adair, published in 1940. Little known when it was written, it became a widely played jazz standard from the 1950s. Tommy Dorsey and His Orchestra recorded it on 17 February 1941 with band singer Connie Haines, in an arrangement by Axel Stordahl. Because of a recording ban, the Victor record appeared only in 1944, and the Dorsey and Haines version reached number 29 on the US charts on 25 November 1944. Other 1940s versions were made by Bob Crosby with Liz Tilton, Harry James with Helen Forrest, and Frankie Masters with Phyllis Myles. From the early 1950s modern jazz musicians recorded it, among them Ray Brown, Benny Carter, Miles Davis with Sonny Rollins in 1955, Erroll Garner, Ahmad Jamal, Oscar Peterson, Sonny Rollins on the Freedom Suite in 1958, Billy Taylor and Cal Tjader. Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney sang it with the Buddy Cole Trio on their CBS show. The song is heard in the soundtracks of Woody Allen's Celebrity (1998) and Melinda and Melinda (2004).
