"My Song" is an instrumental jazz composition by the pianist Keith Jarrett, with no lyrics. Jarrett recorded it in November 1977 at Talent Studios in Oslo with his European Quartet: Jan Garbarek on tenor and soprano saxophone, Palle Danielsson on bass and Jon Christensen on drums. Produced by Manfred Eicher, the recording was released on ECM (ECM 1115) in June 1978 as the title track of the album My Song. On that album it is the second of six Jarrett compositions, and it runs 6:12. The track is described as the best-known of the Jarrett-Garbarek collaborations and as haunting in character.
The tune has since been recorded by other musicians, among them Chet Atkins (1987), Pat Metheny (2003), Ulf Wakenius (2005) and Tamir Hendelman (2010). Anne Walsh recorded a vocal version in 2009.
