"Them There Eyes" is a jazz standard published in 1930, with music by Maceo Pinkard and Doris Tauber and lyrics by William Tracey. The original recording was made by Hal Kemp and His Orchestra on 18 November 1930 and was first released in 1931 as the single "Hurt". Two other early recordings are also documented. Bing Crosby recorded the song with the Rhythm Boys and Gus Arnheim's Cocoanut Grove Orchestra on 20 November 1930, a popular version that charted in 1931. Louis Armstrong recorded it in 1931 for Odeon, with "When You're Smiling" on the B-side. Billie Holiday made the song well known with her 1939 Vocalion recording. Emile Ford & the Checkmates reached number 18 on the UK Singles Chart in 1960, and Rod Stewart recorded it with Jools Holland for the album Swing Fever in 2024. Musicians perform the song in big band, swing and jazz settings.
