Swinging at the Haven is a jazz instrumental composed by the American pianist Ellis Marsalis (1934-2020), who is its only credited writer. It is written in the key of F and belongs to the swing and New Orleans jazz tradition; it is not a standard. The original recording by Ellis Marsalis was made in 1991 and first released on 28 January 1992 on the album Heart of Gold. The tune is listed among the songs about New Orleans recorded by the Ellis Marsalis Jr. Quartet.
Later recordings, made in the years since its release, include versions by Loston Harris (1998), EC3 and Gerald Beckett (both 2017), the Sam Fribush Organ Trio (2021) and a trio of Ilja Reijngoud, Simon Rigter and Rob van Bavel (2025).
