"Among My Souvenirs" is a popular song from 1927, with words by Edgar Leslie and music by Horatio Nicholls, the pseudonym of the British composer Frederick Lawrence Wright (1888-1964). Its sheet music was published in New York by De Sylva, Brown & Henderson on 25 October 1927. The earliest recordings date from September 1927, including a version by The Kit-Cat Band, and Jack Hylton and His Orchestra also recorded it that month. Paul Whiteman's recording for Victor, made on 22 November 1927 and released in February 1928, became the song's first number-one chart hit. Other early versions came from Bob Haring and the Regent Club Orchestra, Roger Wolfe Kahn, James Melton and Ben Selvin, and Al Bowlly. Later recordings include those by Louis Armstrong (1942), Bing Crosby with Russ Morgan and Frank Sinatra (both 1946), Judy Garland (1957), Connie Francis (1959, reaching number seven on the Hot 100), Marty Robbins (1976, a country number one) and Ray Price (2014). The song is heard in the film The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), in which Al Stephenson asks for it and dances to it with his wife.
