"Looking Up" is an instrumental jazz piano composition by Michel Petrucciani, who is credited as its sole writer. It has no lyrics. The original recording is a solo piano performance by Petrucciani, first released in 1989 on the Blue Note album Music, and it is catalogued in the contemporary jazz style. Commentary on the 1998 live album Solo Live describes the tune as overtly optimistic and inherently hopeful. Later performances include a version by Oswaldinho in 1993, a recording by Sylvain Luc and Biréli Lagrène in 1999, a version by the Christian Jacob Trio in 2006 and one by Hot Club d'Allemagne in 2020. The final shots of the 101 Park Avenue commercial were set to the piece.
