Samba Dobrado is a Brazilian song written and performed by Djavan, with Portuguese lyrics, and credited to him as composer. It is a samba in the MPB tradition, in which Djavan's melodic writing blends with the samba rhythm. The original recording was made in January 1978 and appears as track B4 on Djavan, the singer's self-titled debut album, issued that year. The album is filed under MPB and bossa nova.
The song has been recorded by a number of other artists. Dionne Warwick recorded it in 1994, and Cesar Camargo Mariano and Romero Lubambo followed in 2002. Conjunto Bossagora recorded it in 2008 and Banda Urbana in 2011. Later versions include those by Agora Tà in 2016 and Antonio Tarantino in 2017.
