“Everything I've Got Belongs to You” (also known as “Ev'rything I've Got”) is a show tune with music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Lorenz Hart, written for their musical By Jupiter. The show premiered on Broadway at the Shubert Theatre on June 3, 1942, and closed in 1943 after 427 performances. It was the last full-length musical the pair wrote together. In the production, Ray Bolger as Sapiens and Benay Venuta as Hippolyta introduced the song in Act II, and Hippolyta sings a reprise of it. The song has English lyrics and was published in 1942. It has become a jazz standard. The earliest recording listed is by Dick Jurgens and His Orchestra, from 1942. Notable later versions include Ella Fitzgerald's 1956 recording on Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Rodgers & Hart Songbook, Blossom Dearie's 1957 version, Johnny Pace with Chet Baker (1958), Rosemary Clooney (1989), Sara Gazarek (2012) and Cécile McLorin Salvant (2018).
