Daahoud is an instrumental jazz composition by Clifford Brown, with no lyrics, and it is regarded as a jazz standard. The original performance is dated 12 July 1954, by the Clifford Brown Ensemble, and the recording was first released in 1955 on the album Clifford Brown Ensemble featuring Zoot Sims. It was made during the Clifford Brown and Max Roach Quintet sessions of 1954. Alternate takes from those 1954 sessions were later collected on a 1973 Mainstream Records album, also titled Daahoud, by Max Roach and Clifford Brown, though that album was not the song's first release.
Many other musicians have recorded the piece, among them Phineas Newborn Jr., the Oscar Peterson Trio, James Moody, Red Garland, Ahmad Jamal and Arturo Sandoval. A lyric version, titled Beloved (Daahoud), was written by Meredith D'Ambrosio and others.
