Oriental Shuffle is an instrumental gypsy jazz tune in the key of F, credited to Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grappelli as composers. The tune has no lyrics. It was first recorded by the Quintette du Hot Club de France, known in English as the Quintette of the Hot Club of France, on 4 May 1936 in Paris. The recording was released on a 78 rpm single backed with "After You've Gone". Its style is swing-era gypsy jazz, built on the guitar-and-strings sound of the Hot Club quintet. Later performances include a 1979 recording by Stéphane Grappelli with Philip Catherine, Larry Coryell and Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, and a 1984 version by Hot Club de Norvège.
